Introduction to HR Functions

Overview

The aim of this course is to provide a broad knowledge of human resources functions, associated policy frameworks and the administrative requirements to support these functions and policies.

 

Who this course is for

This is a foundation course for any person wishing to pursue a position in human resources.

 

Course Content

  • Research HR issues, legislation, regulations and standards
  • Understand ethical practice in HR
  • Apply and compare research outcomes to work practice

 

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the range of business and HR strategies/links
  • Have the knowledge of policy and procedures, including ethics
  • Have an awareness of the diversity of legal sources
  • Have the knowledge of workforce data and technology

 

Award

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course.
