Manage WHS in your Workplace

 

Overview

This course applies to individuals with a broad knowledge of WHS policies who contribute well-developed skills in creating solutions to unpredictable problems through analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources.

 

Who this course is for

Workers with supervisory responsibilities for implementing and monitoring the organisation's WHS policies, procedures and programs in the workplace.

  • Informing staff about WHS
  • Implementation of Safety Management System
  • Providing training and consultation
  • Identifying hazards, assessing risk and control levels
  • Maintaining records and statistics
  • Due diligence

 

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Have the knowledge and significance of WHS policy and procedures
  • Have the ability to advise on legal consultation requirements
  • Have the capacity to assist with the Safety Management System
  • Maintain appropriate and accurate records

 

Award

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course.
