Manage Recruitment, Selection and Induction



This course provides the skills required to manage all aspects of the recruitment, selection and induction processes in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.



Who this course is for

Human resources managers or human resources personnel who take responsibility for managing all aspects of selecting new staff and orientating those staff to their new positions.


Course Content

  • Develop, analyse and assess employment practices and policies
  • Job descriptions, selection criteria and workforce planning
  • The recruitment stages and critical procedures
  • Legal and statutory requirements of recruitment and selection, including induction
  • The importance of the interview as well as behavoural event interviewing.


Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course participants should be able to:

  • Gain knowledge of appropriate recruitment and selection policy and procedures
  • Skills development in interviewing and selection identification
  • Obtain the capacity to understand all the steps and protocols essential in the modern workplace with recruitment
  • Understand the complexity of the job offer process and all the legal considerations
