Manage Termination and Separation



This course covers all aspects of the employee separation process including employer initiated termination of an employment contract. Participants will be able to undertake research and consultation to determine features of best practice systems of termination/separation and the legal requirements.

Participants will also come to understand procedures to ensure dismissal or termination respects employees, provides confidentiality and complies with legislation. Planning and sound strategy implementation will be covered including outplacement services, consulting, exit interview and human resources feedback. Practical case studies will be utilised as well as group discussion on the diversity and complexity of separation and termination management issues.
