Managing Employee and Workplace Relations Issues

 

Overview

This workshop applies to staff who require an improved knowledge base in modern HR management and employee relations matters. It includes strategic planning and policy development for employee relations as well as practical negotiations, conflict management, dispute resolution tactics and skills.

 

Who should attend

Those staff members, including HR, and leaders who support the organisation in dealig with employee relations or potential industrial matters bvefore they become crisis issues.

  • Developing employee relations strategies and policies
  • Implementing employee relations strategies, policies and plans
  • Managing grievances, conflict, disputes and negotiations
  • General workplace issues and discussion

 

Outcomes

On completion, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary employee relations issues and legislation
  • Record strategies and procedures for dealing with grievances and disputes
  • Apply conflict resolution techniques
  • Train and assist other staff on the nuances of IR in a changing market environment
  • Appreciate the roles of all the stakeholders within the IR framework

 

Award

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the workshop.
