Business Briefings | May - June 2009
New dates for Ballina, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Tamworth
Attention: Various cities and towns in the north east of NSW have been badly affected by storms, flooding and road closures over the last few days. This has made access difficult or impossible. Consequently, we have postponed our northern NSW block of Business Briefings - Ballina, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Port Macquarie. New dates in July have been added to the table below. |
AFEI is holding a new series of Business Briefings running from end of May through June 2009.
By the end of May, better information is scheduled to be available on the additional crucial elements of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and the implications of the national OHS laws.
This will mean:
- More complete details of the Fair Work Act will be available to help you plan your future employee relations strategies, administration and budgets.
- Better information on a wider range of the new Modern Awards
- The draft model, harmonised, national OHS legislation will have been released
- Developments in the economy will provide a clearer base for future projections and strategies.
Further detailed information will be provided before the Briefings.
